Roxio Products and Services Selected for Exclusive Best Buy Software Installer
Roxio Creator 2010 and PhotoShow Featured on Major PC Brands Sold at Best Buy
SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 16 -- Roxio®, a division of Sonic Solutions® (NASDAQ:SNIC), today announced that a range of its consumer applications is being included in Best Buy's new Software Installer, a connected desktop application that helps consumers customize their new or upgrade their existing PCs and netbooks with the latest content, software and service solutions. The Software Installer is available via download at http://www.bestbuy.com/softwareinstaller, and is automatically included on all Asus, Gateway, Lenovo, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba desktops, laptops and netbooks.
Since Software Installer was first introduced in February, Roxio PhotoShow®, the interactive slideshow creation and sharing product, as well as Roxio Creator® 2010, the company's award-winning digital media suite, have been popular choices for consumers.
