Coppell ISD Offers Student Mobility with 1:1 Initiative Supported by Xirrus 802.11n

Today, as the largest employer in Coppell with over 1,200 employees, Coppell ISD has fifteen campuses serving nearly 10,000 students in grades K-12 including nine at the elementary level, three middle schools, two high schools, and an alternative campus. "Our initial wireless implementation was built for coverage, not for capacity. Over the past few years our vision as a district has changed to really move towards a 1:1 initiative and put more mobility within all of our campuses and facilities for students and teachers to take advantage of," stated Chad Branum, Executive Director of Technology for Coppell ISD.
