SANTA ANA, Calif., June 22 -- SRS Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ:SRSL), has been named the winner in the 2010 American Technology Awards, "The Termans", which bestows the "Best Of" awards that recognize all technology products and services for the technology industry. SRS MyVolume, powered by TruVolume(TM) technology, is a small HDMI adapter that is primarily designed to connect between TVs and set-top-boxes and allows users to enjoy television programming free from annoying volume fluctuations that are normally encountered when switching between sources, channels, and when programming transitions to commercials. SRS TruVolume is a revolutionary audio solution that provides listeners with a consistently comfortable volume level for a more enjoyable multimedia experience. Listeners simply set the volume to their preferred listening level, sit back and relax. And, with more than 30-million CE devices shipped worldwide featuring the SRS solution, TruVolume is the uncontested de-facto volume-leveling standard.

"We would like to thank TechAmerica Foundation for this honor, as we are truly thrilled to have been recognized with a Terman for our work on the MyVolume Adaptor," said Allen H. Gharapetian, Vice President of Marketing for SRS Labs. "Volume fluctuations have irritated households for years and this little device, through sophisticated power of SRS TruVolume, can effectively eliminate this issue for good."

"We had a lot of nominations for these prestigious awards, and we congratulate SRS Labs for their winning achievement," said Phil Bond, chairman, TechAmerica Foundation. "TechAmerica Foundation is excited to highlight SRS Labs, as it continues to influence technology development throughout the rest of the world."

The American Technology Awards were presented for each of the inclusive segments of the technology industry: Aerospace and Defense; Clean Tech/Green Tech/Smart Grid; Cloud Computing/Software as a Service; Computers and Peripherals; Consumer Electronics; Cyber Security and Authentication; Electronic Components; Internet Services; Measurement and Control Instruments; Medical Devices; Server & Storage Technology; Software; Technology Consulting; Technology Services; and Telecommunications.

Industry experts and technology companies vetted nominations for the American Technology Awards, "The Termans". These awards are named after Frederick Terman, who is widely credited as being the father of Silicon Valley. The winners were announced on June 16th, 2010 at TechAmerica Foundation's Eighth Annual Technology and Government Dinner, which has been a premier Washington, D.C. networking event bringing hundreds of industry, congressional and government leaders together at one venue to celebrate the partnership between industry and government.

The SRS MyVolume adapter featuring SRS TruVolume technology is available directly through SRS' online store at http://www.srslabs.com and select retailers nationwide.
