Laplink® Ships Enhanced Versions of PCmover® with New Features and Performance Capabilities

BELLEVUE, Wash., Aug. 10 -- Laplink® Software, Inc. has released updated versions of its #1 best-selling PC migration software PCmover®, complete with operating system independent restore, a new customized user-interface and improved application transfer features.
With the new versions of PCmover, users can now restore old Windows® images or the contents of an actual hard drive to a new PC without overwriting anything on the new PC, including the operating system. PCmover, which complements all-available imaging software on the market, is the only software with this capability.
PCmover's newest versions include a new customized user-interface that enables users to easily select whether they are moving from one PC to another, upgrading their current PC to Windows 7 or restoring an old image (or hard drive) to a new PC. Subsequent steps are customized to the user's selection making it easier than ever to use. The newly available customized user-interface and enhanced application transfer capabilities minimize errors and contribute to overall smoother, application migration.
