Residents of Cass County, Missouri to Benefit from Verizon Wireless Network Enhancement
Two New Cell Site Means Clearer Reception, Fewer Dropped Calls
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Dec. 16, 2010/PRNewswire/ --VerizonWireless, the wireless company with the highest customer loyalty, has activated three new cell sites in Cass County, Mo., which will enable more customers to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls; send and receive email and text, picture and video messages; access the Internet; view high-quality videos; and download music, games and ringtones, while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.
The new cell sites improve Verizon Wireless voice and data coverage in three different parts of the county including the towns of Peculiar in the north, Garden City and Dayton in the south and Westline near the Kansas-Missouri state line.

The company has spent more than $59 billion since it was formed--$5.7 billion on average every year--to increase the coverage and capacity of its premier nationwide network and to add new services. In 2009, the company invested more than $61 million in Missouri network improvements.
