Macheen Delivers Internet-included Connectivity Over The Sprint Nationwide Network

Relationship Accelerates Sprint's Momentum in "Consumer Machine-to-Machine"

ORLANDO, Fla., March 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- International CTIA Wireless 2011 -- Macheen, Inc. today announced they are working with Sprint to help consumer electronics manufacturers and retailers deliver new, simple, "no commitment" options for consumers to connect their devices to the Internet; meaning M2M enabled e-readers, tablets, laptops, and gaming devices ship 'hot' already connected to the Internet via the Sprint Nationwide Network.

"Sprint has been an early pioneer of M2M. Teaming up with Macheen strengthens our position in the 'consumer machine-to-machine' (consumer M2M) space, where the booming market for connected consumer electronics is spawning new opportunities for all," said Matt Carter, President, Sprint Global Wholesale Solutions. "Macheen's proven technology provides device makers with a simple path to roll out products that come already "hot" on the Sprint network, right out of the box.  Macheen complements our retail offers and other enabling M2M and wholesale partnerships with a fast path to new revenue streams."

Macheen (officially launched out of stealth mode last week) offers a global service platform for Internet-included connected devices. Macheen will provide Sprint with new "consumer M2M" revenue streams as it leverages their infrastructure and provides complementary business models.

"At Macheen, we think consumers would rather focus on what they can do when connected, not on how to get connected," said Richard Schwartz, President and CEO of Macheen, Inc. "Macheen's technology makes connectivity to a wireless network a given. That means consumers get new, no-nonsense options to go online and stay connected, manufacturers get simplified device rollouts and enjoy much higher attach rates. Our business relationship* (1) with Sprint enables us to power a new, growing category of connected customers on the Nationwide Sprint Network."

Macheen's global service platform is live and in production in Germany. Earlier this month, Dell announced it had chosen Macheen to power its new "hot out of the box" mobile broadband service, Dell NetReady, available on select Dell laptops in Germany.

Macheen is exhibiting in the Sprint booth (3076) at the International CTIA Wireless show taking place in Orlando, Florida from 22-24 March 2011.
