U.S. Inspect Launches Online Resource Center for Real Estate Community

CHANTILLY, Va., March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Inspect announced today a new online resource center for real estate agents. Based on the collective home-related knowledge of their inspectors, they created a library of information that is updated weekly, called the Agent Resource Center (ARC).

The ARC, which is being rolled out to the real estate community today, gives homeowners, home sellers and home buyers, as well as real estate professionals, free access to home-related info in the form of handouts, videos, and Web extras like widgets and blog content. All the content has been developed with the average homeowner in mind, so readers (visitors) need not be home inspectors or hardcore do-it-yourselfers to understand and take full advantage of the resources.  Directly from the site, real estate professionals can add their logo or brand to flyers and easily copy videos and Web tools to their website or blog for their own clients. It's all free, with no sign-up or subscription required. U.S. Inspect is offering its library of content for free under the Creative Commons license, asking only for attribution.

"One of U.S. Inspect's corporate guiding principles is that knowledge is meant to be shared, and shared freely whenever possible. We believe that sharing our knowledge for free across the Internet is a great extension of this philosophy. Simultaneously, it will help us to expand our online presence and potentially grow our core business," said U.S. Inspect Vice President of Marketing, Phil Halpin.

You can visit the resource center at http://www.usinspect.com/arc.

This is not the first time that home-related information has been offered for free online, but it is the first time it has been collected and organized in this way. The information provided in the ARC is not static. Any individual can drop in a name and logo to make it their own. The Center also offers many pre-formatted Web pages, videos and widgets that can be added to any website with a few clicks. New items will be added each week and seasonally--great news for those looking for fresh, regular content.

U.S. Inspect welcomes feedback about the new resource center. "Individuals are encouraged to share suggestions or make content requests at: http://www.usinspect.com/arcfeedback," said Halpin.
