M5 Networks Announces M5Connect SuiteApp for NetSuite's SuiteCloud Computing Platform

New SuiteApp Can Help NetSuite Customers Increase Productivity and Improve Sales Performance by Adding Telephone Usage Analysis to CRM Applications

SAN FRANCISCO, May 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- M5 Networks (http://www.m5.net), a market leader in managed, hosted business Voice-over-IP (VoIP), today announced the M5Connect CTI (Computer Telephony API) NetSuite application for NetSuite's SuiteCloud computing platform. M5Connect CTI combines business intelligence tools with telephone systems to provide trend analysis and reporting of sales- and customer-call activities.  Built using the NetSuite SuiteCloud development platform, the SuiteApp can help NetSuite customers increase productivity by automating phone calling from within CRM and other NetSuite applications, and improve sales and customer service performance by making usage metrics available to management through the NetSuite dashboard.

The announcement was made today at SuiteWorld 2011, NetSuite's inaugural conference designed for NetSuite customers, solution providers, independent software providers, developers and system integrators. SuiteWorld 2011 is being held in San Francisco.

NetSuite's SuiteCloud is a comprehensive offering of on-demand products, development tools, and services designed to help customers and commercial software developers take advantage of the significant economic benefits of cloud computing.  The complete SuiteCloud offering includes NetSuite's multi-tenant, always-on SaaS infrastructure; the NetSuite Business Suite of applications for Accounting/ERP, CRM and Ecommerce; and comprehensive development tools to create on-demand business applications on top of NetSuite.

"M5 is leading the charge to remove the disconnect between the telephone and critical business applications like NetSuite," says Brent Barbara, Vice President of Client Solutions for M5 Networks. "The M5Connect NetSuite application gives our clients a tool that makes their jobs easier, while at the same time improving management's analytic and reporting capabilities with a 360 degree view of the customer. That's a powerful combination."

With M5Connect CTI, integrated telephony features, once only available in the call center, are now accessible to all enterprise users.  The SuiteApp includes robust call routing and other tools, and also adds analysis capabilities to help managers track call volumes and seasonal demands, evaluate customer service levels, reduce wait times, track frequency of calls, prioritize most profitable clients, measure inbound and outbound sales calls and other activities.

Working with NetSuite

The SuiteApp lets NetSuite users click-to-dial to start calls from within NetSuite anytime a phone number is available. Before the call is answered, the solution displays inbound screen pops to provide lead or customer information.  Also, it automates note taking, and delivers real-time analytics to help measure sales, support and operational success. As a result, it can improve day-to-day productivity, and can help companies better manage sales and customer-service activities.

"The M5Connect NetSuite application completes the picture of an integrated enterprise by joining NetSuite and the business phone on behalf of optimized information management and productivity," says Guido Haarmans, Vice President Developer Programs and Business Development at NetSuite.  "The M5Connect SuiteApp unifies the phone and NetSuite's business software suite, delivering capabilities that were previously only available to large enterprises."
