SAN FRANCISCO, May 31, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Maxthon (http://www.maxthon.com), a global software and web services company, announces its partnership with Kingston Technology to provide the portable Maxthon browser on more than 100 million Kingston USB drives. The first several million of these drives, which contain the Maxthon 3 browser, are now available throughout the globe.

Now, customers using Kingston's UR drive portable USB desktop with have the option of surfing with web with Maxthon's flagship web browser: Maxthon 3.  "You can literally carry Maxthon 3 on your key chain, ready anywhere, at any time," says Karl Mattson, Vice President and General Manager of Maxthon International.  "This partnership is a testament to Maxthon's proven ability to consistently transform the web browsing experience with innovative features that set new standards of excellence."

Maxthon 3 is one of the 2 fastest web browsers in the world and offers more out of the box features than any other desktop browser.  With superior speed and ease of use, the Maxthon browser draws worldwide praise from consumers, businesses and technology experts. Reviewing Maxthon 3, CNET editors say Maxthon 3 "offers a full complement of features and options, and everything we tried worked well."  CNET also notes Maxthon 3's sophisticated use of dual rendering engines -- Trident and Safari. The former manages older, often IE-optimized web sites. The latter, Trident, manages the rest.  Maxthon 3 detects what type of a page it's opening -- Trident or Webkit optimized -- and uses the appropriate display engine. "Maxthon's use of dual engines is, in a word, cool. This is a unique capability that worked very well."
