Border Stylo Launches Glass for the Safari Browser

Mac Users Can Now Enjoy The Full Glass Experience With Their Native Browser

LOS ANGELES, June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Border Stylo announced today the availability of Glass on the Safari browser. Glass, which allows users to share content and have contextual conversations directly on top of any website, had already been available as a free extension for the Firefox and Chrome browsers. Now Safari users can enjoy the full functionality of Glass - all while using the native browser on Apple Macs.

Glass lets users share content on the web and have conversations about what they want, with whomever they want, where they want, and when they want.

Embed rich media directly into conversations (including
    WHAT  pictures, videos, and links)
Control whether some or all contacts can see the conversation
WHO   - making it private or public
Directly on top of any webpage - no more sending links and
WHERE clicking away from the page
Conversations can be either instantaneous or asynchronous (ie.
    WHEN  chat or e-mail)

"Glass breaks new ground in enabling immersive content sharing and conversation on the web, and we are pleased to be able to offer this functionality to Safari users," said Adam Sexton, CMO of Border Stylo. "We will continue to push the envelope in terms of the user experience we deliver, and look forward to welcoming the Safari community to our rapidly growing user base."

Glass fundamentally changes the way users can share content and have conversations on the web. They no longer need to copy and shorten links, and then e-mail them to their friends, who then need to click on the link to see the page. With Glass, users can share content easily directly from any web page, and then have a conversation about that content directly on top of that web page. Creating a slide is even easier than sending an email, tweet, or wall post since the conversation can include videos, pictures, and links - not just text. They can also view popular slides curated by the Glass community, or search for slides about interesting topics.

Why e-mail links, when you can simply WriteOnGlass®?
