LifeLearn Launches WebDVM® Version 4

Web site design and hosting service offers enhanced social media and SEO tools for veterinary practices.

GUELPH, Ontario, July 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LifeLearn, Inc. has launched version 4 of its WebDVM® web site design and hosting service.  Compared with prior versions, WebDVM 4 contains enhanced social media and search engine optimization (SEO) tools that allow veterinarians to better communicate with existing clients and raise visibility with prospective clients.

"The Internet has changed the way veterinary practices interact with their clients," said James Carroll, Chief Operating Officer of LifeLearn.  "Today, pet owners expect to be able to gain immediate access to pet health information and to interact with their veterinarian online, on their own terms. WebDVM 4 meets this need by making it much easier for veterinarians to update their web site content, self-publish blog articles, link to social media outlets, and 'get found' on search engines. A strong web site enables better client communication and education, which leads to better compliance, better business, and better patient care."

With WebDVM 4, veterinarians will be able to:

--  Easily integrate their website with social media pages such as Facebook,
Twitter, and Flickr. Entering social media URLs once during setup links
them automatically to social media icons on each page.
--  Allow site visitors to bookmark information and share it via other
        social media sites.
--  Easily publish blog articles with keywords that enhance search engine
        optimization.
--  Better control how search engines read their site with enhanced SEO
tools, allowing prospective clients to more easily find them online.
--  Easily update their site with a more powerful content management system
        that's still easy to use.
--  Offer e-commerce capabilities and take advantage of effective email
        marketing services.

As with previous versions, WebDVM 4 integrates with LifeLearn's ClientEd Online(TM) service that delivers more than 1,200 trusted, reliable client education articles right to a practice's web site, updated monthly.  It also offers professional web site designs; online request forms for boarding, appointments, prescription and food refills; and trusted support from LifeLearn's team of web site professionals that includes weekly webinars and one-on-one training.
