Healthy Choice Challenges Consumers to Freshen Their Freezers With Online Contest
Online Contest in Partnership with Greg Ng of Freezerburns Highlights the Variety of Healthy Choice Meals and Asks Consumers to Clean Out Messy Freezers to Win
OMAHA, Neb., July 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthy Choice®, a brand of ConAgra Foods, Inc., has announced the Freshen Your Freezer contest- challenging consumers to clean out their messy freezers, stock them with Healthy Choice meals, upload images to share with the Healthy Choice community and win big prizes. In partnership with Greg Ng of the blog Freezerburns.com, the contest builds on the brand's strong social media presence and looks to highlight the wide variety of Healthy Choice meals available. The contest will run for four weeks and offers consumers the chance to win cash prizes and a supply of Healthy Choice meals.
Freezers can get messy as consumers are buying in bulk and stocking up on their trips to the grocery store. Before long, the freezer is full of items that they probably don't remember buying. The Freshen Your Freezer contest challenges consumers to clean out their messy freezers and replace their current options with varieties of Healthy Choice meals.
The contest is simple - consumers upload either a "before" or "after" picture of their freezer to a tab on the brand's Facebook page. Once the contest closes, Greg and team will review all entries and pick several winners to receive cash prizes for an adventure vacation of their choice, supplies of Healthy Choice meals, gift cards to stock their freezers and more. The "after" picture winner will also be flown to ConAgra Foods' headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska to co-host a live review of Healthy Choice with Greg for his blog.
