16 Year Old Girl of the Art World Takes on the Big Boys of the App World
Paige Rohrick, artist and creator of PaigeeDraw Inc. (#1 App on Apple's new and noteworthy release) releases another app in less than a year.
VANCOUVER, B.C., Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Paige Rohrick, artist and creator of PaigeeDraw Inc. (#1 App on Apple's new and noteworthy release) releases another app in less than a year. The release of her newest app, ChibiDraw, is the second in a series of instructional art applications available on Apple's iTunes aimed at teaching people how to draw.
The word "software developer" may bring to mind a myriad of images; least of which would be a sweet sixteen year old girl with not only one piece of software under her belt, but two.
ChibiDraw is a similar format to the original PaigeeDraw app which teaches its readers how to draw with step by step visual and instructional slides on Apple's iPhone and iPad. However, ChibiDraw's uniqueness comes by way of its characters: Chibis. Chibis are the tiny manga characters found in graphic novels and anime movies and people love to draw them. ChibiDraw's Facebook page already has 55,000 followers in addition to the 125,000 followers of PaigeeDraw on Facebook. This is the stuff that makes grown men green with envy.
Paige Rohrick is unstoppable. And with the pace she is able to turn out apps along with the unique following she has created this is only the tip of the iceberg for this young teenager. Two more apps are already in production and more products are being added to the online store regularly.
