AT&T Brings Mobile Broadband Network to Bluefield, Beckley, Princeton Areas
Local Wireless Network Upgrade Extends Access to Advanced Products, Services and Applications
BLUEFIELD, W.Va., Aug. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --AT&T* today announced the availability of its mobile broadband network in Bluefield, Beckley and Princeton, WV, extending access for advanced mobile services, devices and feature-rich audio and video content to customers in the area.
In Beckley, new mobile broadband coverage has been added to the core of the town from the Rte. 19 (N. Eisenhower Drive)/Rte. 41 (Stanaford Rd.) junction in the north, down to S. Kanawha St. and the Raleigh area in the south, as well as along Harper Rd. and Robert C. Byrd on the west end of Beckley.
Additionally, the towns of Prosperity and Mt. Hope (north of Beckley), a stretch of I-64 at Exit 124 into Glen Morgan (south of Beckley), and along the WV Turnpike (northwest of Beckley, south of Pax) now have mobile broadband coverage.
In the Bluefield/Princeton areas, mobile broadband service is now available throughout Bluefield, VA as well as in Bluefield, WV and Princeton, WV. Further, mobile broadband service has been extended to Brush Fork, north of Bluefield, WV and Route 460/19 between Bluefield and Princeton.
