"Smart" Move for MBNA Card Services Customers

                New Smartphone app to make life easier for customers on the go

    MBNA has launched a new Smartphone Card Services app as part of the continued
evolution of the way it provides services to customers.

    "The new app will help customers stay up-to-date and in control of their credit card
account wherever they are and whatever the time," said Michael Donald, Business
Development and Marketing executive for MBNA. "The launch of this new app is a great
example of how our focus on innovation and enhancing the customer experience is making
life easier for those people we are proud to serve.

    "We know our customers have a strong appetite to do more to service their accounts on
the go, so we are already planning the development of a range of new functions to enhance
the app over time."

    The new secure, convenient and smart app will offer customers a range of essential
services, including:

       
        - Viewing a summary of account information such as balance and payment
          information.
        - Making a debit card payment.
        - Viewing their PIN.
        - Viewing recent transactions.

    The app is available as a free download for iPhone and Android-powered devices from
the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android. Customers simply need to search for
"MBNA".
