DisplayLink launches new USB 3.0 Docking Chipset featuring dual 2650x1600 resolution

PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DisplayLink(®), the leading provider of USB Graphics technology, today announced the official launch and products shipping with their new DL-3950 USB 3.0 Universal Docking Chipset. The latest chipset supports up to two 2560x1600 DisplayPort monitors along with Gigabit Ethernet, 5.1 channel audio, and is being demonstrated in the new Targus® ACP7101USZ at CES 2014.

The new DL-3950 forms the new flagship member of DisplayLink's award winning DL-3000 chipset family and is available from Q1 2014 for volume production. The fully integrated docking chip set enables the highest USB graphics resolution to-date with dual 2560x1600 and new dual 2560x1440 resolutions offered on the latest monitors.
