ThinkGeek Develops the Mr. Beard - Beard Machine

Heralded as massive leap forward in facial hair technology

FAIRFAX, Va., April 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ThinkGeek's internal R&D Department, GeekLabs, is proud to announce the launch of the Mr. Beard - Beard Machine.  The Mr. Beard is designed to help the facial-follicle-impaired capture the returning trend of styled beards and mustaches.

The patent-pending process allows users to select from one of over 200 styles, each clearly labeled for cut, style, and color on proprietary B-Cup inserts.  Each B-Cup contains sterilized, salon-quality hair particles that are bonded to the users face.  Once applied, the beard or mustache can be groomed and treated as if it were the wearer's natural hair.

"We have been quietly working on this one for a number of years, really ever since we first saw a hipster playing a mandolin on YouTube," remarks Steve Zimmermann, Undersecretary for the Ministry of Misinformation. "GeekLabs developed the Mr. Beard as a labor of love to help balance the beard discrepancy and give our smooth-faced friends the opportunity to reach their maximum potential."

The Mr. Beard - Beard Machine comes with 5 starter styles to choose from: Fu Manchu, Green Arrow, Freddie Mercury, Handlebar, and ThinkGeek Founder.
