ZeroHour Innovations Launches ZeroHour Tactical Flashlight + Battery Backup

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., June 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ZeroHour Innovations announced today the official launch of ZeroHour, a tactical-grade flashlight integrated with a USB Battery Backup that can charge smartphones, tablets, and other USB devices. Funded on Kickstarter, ZeroHour has completed fulfillment to backers who provided over $100,000 for its first production run. ZeroHour is now available for consumer purchase on http://www.ZeroHourXD.com.

"This is the day we've been waiting for," said Amy Truong, co-founder of ZeroHour Innovations. "We are so happy to reward the hundreds of backers who supported our dream to create the next standard in flashlights. Now we look forward to sharing ZeroHour with consumers everywhere."

Following one year of design and prototype development, ZeroHour's 2013 Kickstarter campaign raised $109,000 to cover its initial manufacturing costs, a feat achieved by less than 2% of Kickstarter projects to date. ZeroHour debuted its prototype at 2014 International CES, where it was named in Best of CES coverage by CNet and Yahoo! Tech. ZeroHour recently showcased its public safety and military applications for select members of Congress in Washington, DC.

ZeroHour will next appear at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, August 6-9, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Booth PV3344.
