The most legendary slot of all time pays out $4 million in winnings over weekend
LAS VEGAS, June 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jackpot sirens sounded in casinos across the country last week, as gaming entertainment leader IGT's (NYSE: IGT) legendary MegaJackpots® game, Wheel of Fortune, awarded three, $1 million-plus jackpots on three consecutive days in casinos across the US. The winning weekend kicked off June 14, 2014 when a lucky player won a $1,557,384 jackpot at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. on IGT's huge game, Wheel of Fortune Super Spin Wolf Run. The mega-sized win marks the third million-plus jackpot won on an IGT slot machine at Mohegan Sun in 2014.
The next day at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino in Highland, Calif, a fortunate slot enthusiast went home a millionaire after winning $1,341,641 on Wheel of Fortune Double 3x4x5x Pay MultiPLAY.
The trio of wins was rounded out when a player in Thackerville, Okla. was struck with luck after placing a wager on a Wheel of Fortune Super Diamonds slot at WinStar World Casino & Resort and won a $1,124,777 jackpot.
