CIAmedia, the company behind the hugely popular Caller Identification App 'CIA' has
announced a range of new features included in its Android version
[https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adaffix.cia.glb.android ] which is now
available for download on Google Play. The App, that detects incoming calls and searches
1.3 billion personal and business listings as the phone rings to display the caller
identity, now includes Reputation Check.

Bundled as part of the premium feature set, Reputation Check allows users to see how
friends, family, peers and others saved them within their contact lists. For privacy
protection the source of the contact list is never disclosed.

The labeling of the same phone number in different contact lists can vary greatly,
from the real name to flattering nicknames to entries with a negative connotation. Once
the self-serve Reputation Check is complete, users can then manage their reputation,
remove negative or inaccurate entries and present themselves and their contact details as
they wish. Editing 'My Profile' in the app makes it easy for users to directly control
their digital identity and the CallerID name that appears when they make a call. Users
also have the option to set their number to private.

Claudia Dreier-Poepperl, CEO and founder at CIAmedia said: "Contact lists on
smartphones are a true social network, as users are intimately connected with each other
by phone numbers. Adding someone's number and name to the contact list is more relevant
then friending someone on Facebook. Reputation Checker is something completely new,
effectively allowing users to understand what other people think about them by analyzing
how they are saved in contact lists of people that really matter to them."

CIA-app also allows consumers reach the businesses and services that they want by
automatically suggesting alternative merchants nearby when a call goes unanswered. Once a
call is completed the user is prompted to rate and review the quality of their experience,
providing useful feedback to other users on the businesses that they routinely interact
with. Furthermore, CIA-app offers call blocking, spam call warnings, a contact back-up and
contact update function.
