Ahead of the launch, Lapin in partnership with Nielsen conducted a financial survey* which revealed that nearly half (48%) of all U.S. adults find that they are over budget at the end of each month. Among the 18-34 year olds surveyed only 1 in 4 say they are on target with their expected monthly budget. Further, the study found that young adults aren't the most likely demographic to find themselves off budget. In fact, those age 35-44 are the most likely group with 3 in 5 off budget, mostly driven by women in that age group with 63%.
