Studio T. Adam reveals feminist word game "Words Are Power"
MONTREAL, Nov. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Working under the label Studio T.
Adam, a group of experienced developers in the video game industry has
revealed today the feminist word game "Words Are Power". The project
seeks to raise awareness on gender issues affecting women in the
workplace. The team seeks to raise additional funds via Kickstarter to
bring the concept to its full potential.
Based on academic research, the plot puts you in the shoes of a 1946 war
correspondent returning from overseas. She wants to get to the bottom
of a mystery that involves top brass in the military and the
government. Unfortunately, she will meet resistance both from
Washington... and at the office.
"Because the story takes place almost 70 years ago, we can highlight
these gender issues without seeming exaggerated," stated the writer,
Emilie Villeneuve. "The player will foremost seek to solve the plot,
and along the way will discover the real obstacles. The issues
explored are still very present today."
