Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority Approves Blancco 5 for Erasing Data From Solid State Drives
FICORA's approval paves way for additional international acceptance of Blancco's SSD erasure technology

FICORA inspected Blancco 5's technical features, software development process and
software development premises and found the product suitable for erasing data from hard
drives and SSDs at security classification levels I-IV. Previously, FICORA's guidelines
stated that the only reliable means of removing data was physical destruction of the SSD.

using Blancco 5 software according to FICORA's defined user policy and Hard Drive Life
