Electronics Leader Inks New Deal with Preeminent Fitness Brand to Launch First Line of Fitness Trackers

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- 2015 INTERNATIONAL CES -- Electronics leader Sakar International today announced the launch of a new collection of fitness tracking wearable technology under a new licensing agreement with FAM Brands, a division of FAM, LLC., owner of Bally Total Fitness trademarks for multiple categories including electronics, health and wellness, apparel and fitness accessories.

The companies kicked off the new partnership with the debut of five inaugural products at the 2015 International CES. Designed for men and women, the lineup includes three Bluetooth bracelet-style activity trackers, a fitness watch and heart rate monitor.

"The Bally brand is synonymous with empowering anyone to lead an active, healthier lifestyle by making fitness accessible and affordable," said Liza Abrams, VP of Licensing with Sakar. "We're very excited to introduce this new line of wearable tech that continues in that tradition, featuring the latest in activity tracking and Bluetooth technology, which makes it easy and stylish to incorporate fitness into your everyday activities."

The new Bally Total Fitness collection includes the:

up to 3 weeks of use between charging. The BLT-5201 also syncs with the
Bally Total Fitness app to track health and fitness goals over time.
--  Activity Tracking Watch (BLT-1701), with 6 operational modes to track
steps, distance, calories burned and exercise time, with a 7 day memory,
stop watch and alarm mode, plus date, time and day of the week display.
Featuring a fully adjustable neoprene band, the watch is available in a
        variety of colors.
--  Bluetooth Activity Tracker (BLT-2601) that tracks steps, distance,
calories burned and sleep quality with 3 exercise modes for walking,
stair climber and elliptical workouts. Featuring a long-life battery,
the BLT-2601 syncs with the Bally Total Fitness app for Android and iOS
to track progress toward fitness goals over time with easy-to-read
graphs and charts to monitor progress.
--  Heart Rate Monitor (BLH-4307) set that provides real-time heart rate
monitoring to optimize workout intensity for maximum performance. The
coordinating set features a small-profile, comfortable chest band and
fitness watch with a large, easy-to-read display that also includes
stopwatch, calories burned, date, time and alarm functions. Each
operates on one CR2032 watch battery, included.
