Bridgeworks enables Spectra Logic to reach further and faster with high speed iSCSI connectivity and remote storage solutions

The adoption of 10Gb and 40Gb Ethernet infrastructures within the virtualized
computing environment has created a challenge connecting to peripherals. Whilst many of
the new peripherals have adopted 10Gb and 40Gb iSCSI connectivity, the high-speed tape
devices such as LTO-5 and LTO-6 drives are only available with the Fibre Channel protocol.
With the Oresund 10Gb and 40Gb iSCSI to Fibre Channel gateways it is now a simple action
to transparently connect Spectra's high performance tape libraries to the iSCSI SAN.
Many organizations still employ a courier service with off-site tape storage for data
back-up, which is not practical in this day of exponential data growth. WANrockIT has

normally associated with a WAN, expanding Spectra's solutions portfolio with remote
vaulting for Disaster Recovery and Archiving.
