Magewell(TM) Announces Gen2 PCIe Capture Cards
Magewell's expansive array of PCIe capture cards evolves to include 10bit color, universal Windows® and Linux® drivers, and a new SDK.
NANJING, China and READING, Pa., April 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nanjing Magewell Electronics Corp. and its North American distribution partner Mobile Video Devices, Inc. are pleased to announce today that Magewell's entire PCIe capture card line is evolving to the next generation PCIe with shipping beginning this month. Further, the Magewell Gen2 release includes a new SDK, universal Windows and open source Linux drivers.
Magewell will utilize a controlled release schedule of the Gen2 PCIe capture cards. All single channel cards - HDMI, SDI, and DVI - are due in mid-April. All dual channel cards - HDMI, SDI, and DVI - are due at the end of April. The quad channel cards - HDMI and SDI - are due at the beginning of May. Contact Mobile Video Devices, Inc. for the release dates of other Magewell capture card models. Gen1 PCIe models will no longer ship as the Gen2 model replacement version is released.
