BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrating the one year anniversary of the award-winning Defense Grid 2 (DG2) release, Hidden Path Entertainment today announces a fully-recrafted virtual reality version of Defense Grid 2 releasing on the Oculus Rift(TM) in time for the Q1 2016 launch.
DG2 is the definitive tower-defense strategy game and the new Enhanced VR Edition rebuilds the user interface and controls to give players the most intuitive and immersive Defense Grid experience imaginable. "Each player who plays the VR Enhanced content is already saying they want to play the game exclusively in VR going forward - the game becomes even more amazing when you build your perfect base while fully immersed in that world," says Hidden Path CEO, Jeff Pobst.
