Launching Inventive Earbuds that Light Up with Music or Movement

LONDON, Nov. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- iEC Technology (http://www.iectechnology.com) is about to launch their laser-light based Bluetooth stereophonic headsets on Kickstarter. This advisory is for journalists who would like to review the sample units before the campaign goes live in mid November.

About Shine:

These high-quality earbuds have an integrated smart-phone app (for iOS and Android phones). Through the app, users can control the mode with which they would like the laser-light based neck strap to glow. The three mode options are: glow in different colors based on the music that is playing; glowing based on the movements of the user - e.g. during workouts or runs; glowing based on breathing (Many colors are random). The way the neck strap glows can be further customized based on the sound waves themselves (crests, hollows) or power saving modes. For motion detection based glowing, the headset uses a G-sensor, 3-axis, counting steps, frequency, speed and time.

Shine is the first such headset designed to portray emotions and moods externally. The Bluetooth pairing with the phone can take place for up to 30 feet away, and it runs for up to seven hours of playtime for each charge. Charging time is 1.5 hours.

The earpiece comes with three ear hook sizes that can easily be switched. It is designed to be a comfortable fit that stays in the ears even when the users are running or playing sports, while avoiding any pressure-inducing sensations. It also has intuitive hardware controls for lights, volume and pausing/starting the music. If the user receives a call on their phone while the music is playing, the music and lights come to a halt, allowing the user to use the headset and microphone for the conversation.

The headset sound blocks out environmental noise effectively, and uses APTX technology for seamless streaming of CD quality audio to deliver powerful stereophonic sound quality.
