SolidRun's leading Micro System on a Module (MicroSoM(TM)) family is designed for embedded systems, product developers and OEMs. SolidRun has packed a Marvell ARMADA 388/380 SoC (System-on-Chip), memory subsystem, I/O, and interconnected subsystems into a single ultra-compact System-on-a Module sized at 35mm x 50mm. The MicroSoM is available in a variety of power, memory and storage configurations offering engineers and developers a unique set of off-the-shelf design features and benefits such as faster time to market, lower design costs, and reduced risk.

The ClearFog Pro carrier is a single board computer built for development and deployment. Its schematics and documentation are openly available as a reference. The board supports a rich set of I/Os and features such as a Gigabit Ethernet port, SFP cage, 6-port Gigabit Ethernet switch, USB-3.0 Host interface, Dual Mini-PCIe slots (including support for SIM Card holder), M.2 slot for SSD modules, mikroBUS(TM) and Telephony/Audio expansion header, wide range power supply support, Power-over-Ethernet ready and much more. The solution supports a variety of Linux distributors including Yocto and OpenWrt.

"The new MicroSoM and companion carrier board were built in cooperation with Marvell, with the aim of increasing accessibility and dramatically simplifying development and mass deployment of ARMADA 38x based products," stated Kossay Omary, SolidRun's co-founder and technology leader. "Customers in the networking, storage and IoT Gateway industries space are looking for efficient building blocks to help generate revenue faster."
