Built on OmniVision's advanced PureCel<sup>®</sup> pixel technology, the OS05A features advanced backside illumination (BSI) for enhanced low-light performance, very low power consumption and a double-exposure staggered mode for high dynamic range (HDR) rendering. </p>
<p>OmniVision's OS05A enables video applications in widely used 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios for 24/7 high definition (HD) critical scene capture in both digital and analog formats. The OS05A also features extended platform support for higher resolutions in consumer applications. In addition, consumers increasingly use tablets, smartphones and virtual reality (VR) headsets to watch 360-degree videos and to post live video feeds on social media.
