<p>The game will evolve in four stages with associated abilities - and these stages will become available incrementally based on the development timeline below but available to all users once they are released.</p>
<p>Stage 1: Breeding, raising, collecting and fighting with dragons. A beta version will be available for testing and debugging in <span class="xn-chron">April 2018</span> followed by an official release in <span class="xn-chron">May 2018</span>.</p>
<p>Stage 2: Owning virtual private land, producing weapons, trading items and services, community-building. </p>
<p>This stage and its related abilities will be released in August 2018 followed by a developer kit that will be released in <span class="xn-chron">December 2018</span>.</p>
<p><span id="spanHghlt14a6">GameGene</span> confirms that the Quest game mode will be released on the platform in <span class="xn-chron">August 2018</span> with a quest editing tool allowing players to trade services based on the smart contracts. <p>Stage 3: Nation Building. The open world will be expanded to new territories that will be open to everyone and eventually develop into countries, with flags and political systems. Inevitably, waging war will be possible on these new nations at this stage in June 2019. </p>
<p>Stage 4: Creative Story Development. These new worlds will require new plots, story lines, resources and infinite gaming opportunities. Age of Dragons will have many new different story lines scripted by developers (both in-house and external) and Artificial Intelligence bots by December 2019.</p>
