Cloud-Based Collaboration Platform Turns Tablet into a High-Impact Business Tool
PALM DESERT, Calif., March 22 -- MightyMeeting, an innovative mobile collaboration and social publishing company, today unveiled its new business application for the iPad by Apple at this year's DEMO Spring 2010 conference, a semi-annual event that identifies new market-shaping technologies by giving companies just six minutes to demonstrate how their product will change the world. MightyMeeting's suite of applications for mobile and hand-held devices, including the iPhone, iPod Touch, Android and now iPad, allows users to turn their devices into powerful business tools for high-resolution multimedia presentations and content sharing.

The iPad - with its intuitive touch screen capabilities, collaborative format, wireless network connectivity and high-resolution display - now offers an even larger untapped potential for business users to communicate. With MightyMeeting's iPad application, traveling business executives and remote workers can turn their mobile devices into a powerful tool that allows them to share and showcase business content. The application allows users to start or join Web meetings, show presentations and share content directly from their iPad devices. Users can schedule meetings that are integrated into Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar and Apple's iCal.

MightyMeeting's content-sharing capabilities are built on a unique system architecture that combines the latest achievements in mobile and cloud computing technologies. Users can add content either by uploading it from a desktop or by sending it to an e-mail address associated with their MightyMeeting account. Then, MightyMeeting automatically converts this content into formats suitable for delivery to different types of devices. In addition to the native application for devices running iPhone OS, such as iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, MightyMeeting offers a lightweight HTML-only client that can be used to start and join Web meetings from any device with a Web browser. This month, MightyMeeting will also introduce a Flash-based client to deliver an optimized experience for desktop users.
