Family Games from Flying Tiger Entertainment Join Growing Roster of Zeebo Titles
Toy Raid Now Available and Shootin' Gallery Coming Soon
SAN DIEGO, April 12 -- Zeebo, Inc. today announced that Flying Tiger Entertainment, Inc. will be releasing Shootin' Gallery for Zeebo's 3G-connected digital gaming, entertainment and education platform. Shootin' Gallery is the developer's second game for the Zeebo system, following the successful launch of its first Zeebo title, Toy Raid, in March. The Zeebo system was developed for emerging global markets and is currently selling in Brazil and Mexico, with future rollouts planned elsewhere in Latin America, Asia and beyond.
"As we've already seen with the success of Toy Raid, Flying Tiger's games are proving to be quite popular with families in Brazil and Mexico," said Mike Yuen, senior vice president of global content and services, Zeebo, Inc. "We look forward to the launch of Shootin' Gallery and expect it will receive a similar response from Zeebo users of all ages looking to download fresh, fun and entertaining content."
"Our first game for Zeebo, Toy Raid, was ported and enhanced from the iPhone version and we are happy with the positive download trend we've seen since its Zeebo launch in March," said John Brandstetter, president, Flying Tiger Entertainment. "Our team is enjoying the opportunity to work with Zeebo and to be part of this one-of-a-kind product, and we look forward to bringing more titles to Zeebo in the future."
Content delivery and user interface software updates for the Zeebo system occur over the ZeeboNet Wireless Network and are completely transparent to Zeebo customers. Customers can purchase and download content quickly and easily from their living rooms, without having to purchase any software disks or other hardware. Connectivity is provided pre-activated for the system, and users do not have to sign up for any additional service plan or contract. Zeebo takes only minutes to set up. Users simply plug the Zeebo into a television set, and the system automatically connects to the ZeeboNet Wireless Network.
