What is your craziest Build or Mod ? Old Tue Nov 21, 2006 4:05:46 PM #28706 Perm Link
I just did this about 2 weeks ago
I installed Windows XP on a old Compaq Deskpro 4000
CPU spec is 199 MHZ
Added 512 of PC 133 Ram only recognized 320
it actually worked, No crash no freezing it just ran.

Now keep in mind that Microsoft's minimum specs to run XP is a 300 MHZ processor with 128 Megs of Ram
Now why on earth would I do this lets just call it reserch and development

:-P

THAT'S impressive.

I've done something like Baldy. I was forced to install XP Home on a minimum spec system of 233MHz with 64MB of RAM. Yes, that's the minimum. It ran like poo.

2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

Not to mention my main rig listed in the systems section.

Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty.

Thanks..........Wink I've got more as well, big and small.
Here's a simple little way to add a extra cooling fan to the bays on a Cooler Master Centuron case.

Here's a link to a wooden external water cooling project I did some time ago as well.
