Portable GPS Old Sat Jan 20, 2007 8:07:38 AM #32662 Perm Link
Does anyone use a portable GPS like a TomTom? I was using one of Thursday and I liked it so much that I'm going to buy one.

Anyone use one?

A tom tom? Arent those those swinging weapons?

Then yes, I swing portable GPS all over the place.

I killed a dude once with one. He tried to steal it, so I broke it over his fucking head.

Its not who a person is in the inside, but what he does that defines him.

Yeah. I still like the paper kind. Following a voice around gives me the willies. Even if it is feminine and neutral in tone.

It comes with the TomTom Navigator software. Yes, you can download other voices as well.

A portable GPS? I was just enquiring about it a few days back. Actually I never thought that there can be anything like a portable GPS available. Thanks for the information. I will check it soon.

Actually, they now play games of high tech hide and seek using the portable GPS devices. They are really pretty cool. You basically take an old fashioned treasure hunt and plot out places on a grid and plot the GPS numbers, and then you usually place whatever item you've brought with you in the buried box and take one of whatever somebody else left.

I was only aware of GPS systems in Cars and once I read it is also available in Bikes as well. This will be handy when we go out in a distant location.
