This could be the beginning of something good. But, it's a bit strange to me that Best Buy will sell a free product for $19.95. I was looking for details to see if it came with a book or something to make the price reasonable. However, the description of the product isn't very good. This could be helpful in getting the name out there to the non-enthusiast market. If it comes with some type of "how to" documentation or CD, it would certainly be worth it for folks tired of paying outrageous prices for other OSs.

I see this as a major stepping stone towards Linux distribution. Whether it is for a price or not, the fact of the matter is that most people get operating systems in a store (online or not) and a large majority of people know nothing about Linux. Furthermore, offering something for free makes people suspicious of a catch, so offering it for a price (and such a low price) may make people overcome their suspicion.

As Long as this does not go to there heads, and they do not over inflate it its all good.
