Here is one: What is the average value for a random variable with an exponential probability density function (pdf)? And What is the variance of the Poisson Process?
For the first, I know the pdf is ae^-ax and you need to integrate from neg infinity to infinity. I forgot how to integrate (of course), but I think it is 1/a. I don't know how to get it

If the average for the Poisson is at, then the variance should be (at)^.5?

Oh snaps...NJIT students helping Stevens Tech students.
Last time I took Stats was what? 3 years ago...I remember starting to drink myself to oblivion after the final was done. Don't know how I made it back home that night, but I did.
