"D-Link Wireless-G USB 2.0 device. This combined with my laptop's wireless ability lets me quickly take any data I want off someone's machine via an ad-hoc wireless network."

D-Link makes the best wireless hardware. I have a D-link wireless router and it's very reliable.

I would have to argue against that statement.

From all my experiences, D-Link is horrible. Not the worst, but damn close.

I would recommend Netgear and Linksys.

I only use the USB Wireless-G they have because I got it for free.

I agree. Linksys then Netgear in terms of reliability.

D-link and Belkin = Crap.

I wouldn't say horrible, but Linksys does blow it out of the water. When I was testing out wireless routers (and before I just said screw the whole thing), I found the D-Link DGL-4300 to be slower than the Linksys Wireless G, despite being rated for twice the speed. I did in the end, end up selling both, but still. Reliability wise they were about even though.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

I have a D-Link router, It's wired, I haven't had any problems, and I like it's Xbox compatability. However, My friend purchased a wireless one for his laptop, and you'd walk around the corner, and there goes your connection
