That's right, more precise atomic clocks are coming down the pike and can keep time on the order of 1 second per 30 million years off (meaning they are also more accurate).

In case you are wondering, atmoic clocks are based on the time it takes for a caesium atom to resonate. 9,192,631,770 times is equal to one second. Quartz time pieces are on the order of 10,000 times per second.

And how much would said clock sell for hmmm? Well you know what they say "If you have to ask..."

It is pretty cheap to get atomic clock time as radio signals are set out by the clock itself.
