The FCC is in no position to push DRM (as evident by the broadcast flag screw up). This bitch is wrong, dead wrong.

The problem is that the FCC is over-reaching. It was originally formed so that commercial radio, military radio, police radio, naval radio and ham radio could all exist peacefully without everyone stepping on each other's signals. Then people became concerned with obscene shit on the broadcast radio and they stuck their finger into that pie, then came along TV, CB radio, etc.

It's like if the FBI claimed they had jurisdiction over private schools and started arresting bullies.
