Well, in the particular field of science we're talking about, it's not uncommon for the dreams and reasoning of men and women to far outpace the development of tools to verify their theories. I don't think the books on gravity and gravity-related forces will be closed for a hell of a long time. Einstien is still as good as it gets for now though. Isn't it amazing that as inaccurate as Newton's theories are, that's what they used to get to the moon as well as accomplish many other tasks in space?
