Does anybody know if the phsychicer dressphere exists in the the game other than the international version? And I can't remember but there was a second one after that. I think its called the animist?
In the future, maybe. FF games tend to lowly reveal their story with lots of twists and turns. It's still action packed...just over a longer range of time.
Aw crap, I'm stuck. I think I'm misunderstanding the guidebook. I'm at the part where Yuna falls into the Farplane from Djose after meeting Shuyin. Crap, it says when she says 'I'm all alone' press X and you hear a whistle... When the ghost disappears and Yuna is searching for it press the X button to hear more whistleing. After whistling four times the event ends!
But once I press X the first time it waits second, she hears a whistle, and the scene ends! I think thats why I'm missing a small fraction of percentage right there!!!!
Doubtful. Something as minor as that wouldn't make you miss an entire percentage point. The game progresses in terms of what events and CG movies you have viewed thus far, In addition to any objectives, side quests, and/or bosses you have beaten. Look elsewhere my friend ...unless you are entirely sure.
Its only 0.2%... (isn't that stupid? they actually have 0.2% for scenes) Its either that or I talked to Paine out of order... grrrr... I already have the guidebook.
[Edited to avoid posting twice]
Yup. That was what I missed. I just tapped the X button like hell after she says 'i'm all alone.' and the Ghost of Tidus appeared and led me out of the Abyss. I'm so happy! Weeee! I don't have to do it all over again!
man i finally found time to start playing ffx-2 again, but i had to start over cuz i missed a lot of parts. Luckily that wont happen again cuz i bought the players guide
FFX-2 has all sorts of mean little secrets.
How the hell would you know that you're supposed to punch the X button during some scenes to change them?! Including the ending!
And sometimes you have to go against your better judgement just to be the best.
Like if you tell the Ronso all they want to hear, that statue the artisan is working on with be Yuna. (what made me wonder was how did that ronso have time to make a statue of Yuna and Kimahri? they should've had an actual scene where Yuna sees her statue, cause it sucks from the camera angle's view.) I'm almost done with the game... Stupid Via Infinito!!!!! Stupid Cactuars!!!!!!!!! Goddamnit!!!!! No!!!
I HATE CHOCOBOS!!!!!!!
No somebody asked if it was worth getting the hundred percent to which I replied 'If you love Tidus, yes.' I know that for a fact, because I have friends who have already beaten the game. You assumed that I had beat it and I failed to correct you.
I'd figured that much out already, cause if you'd give it that I'd figure you're just stupid or you had never actually played it. And since I don't think you're stupid.
Well just to let you know Drifter, I beat it today. It was awesome. But you must wait till after the credits to view the full scenes.
I don't know why but I'm letting my snotty little brother play under my New Game Plus Data. I'll probably let my best friend do that too, because she's hopeless without me!
You misunderstand the purpose of this game. The FF series has NEVER continued a "chapter" in the book, because everyone is looking for the new story. In this case, there was such an influx of fan mail that came into the Square Enix offices asking to continue the story because much was left unanswered. This is a serious break from tradition, and is due mostly to the fans. The fact that you don't get to see pretty movies in the end is irrelevant, because they want to finish the story, not spend more then they really had to. In my eyes it's a matter of economics rather then graphical prowess. People wanted to know what happened after FFX, so SE made a game which did that, but without most of the frills of the last game.
