Well, if you're expense conscious, DSL would be a good way to go. The price hovers around $30 a month or so, and it works pretty well. Cable is typically more expensive (I think around $50), but tends to go faster. Though I hear that if you're TV is on at the same time someone is on the internet, the connection will slow down. Probably just a myth, though.
Then there's T1, I know absolutely nothing about this connection AT ALL. I have no idea of the price or how to get it to work, I only know that it's FAST.

Yeah, it quite possibly could be more.

What you are paying for on a T1 is not just the speed (1.544mbps) but dedicated service and total uptime. Compared to cable nowadays, it is somewhat slower. If I were a business, I'd probably get a T1 though.

2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

You're right. I JUST figured out that T1 is a LAN connection, so it's most likely used for businesses or speed-hungry rich people. So it's fully possible for it to be $1000 a month.

I've actually been on T1 before...I almost creamed myself at the realization of how fast it went.

My dad's office runs a dual-T1 connection...and it's like a slap in the face.

I'd love to download MP3s on a T1. But, like you, I was at an office when I was on one...so yeah...
